SERIAL KILLERS IN TURKİYE

The documentary aired on “Exxen” titled “Türkiye’deki Seri Katiller” (“Serial Killers in Turkey”) brings the stories of four different serial murderers from Turkey to the audience.

In the documentary, the lives, inner worlds, crime methods, and motivations of “Kolici Katil” Orhan Aksoy, known as the “Box Killer”; Süleyman Aktaş, remembered as the “Çivici” (“Nail Killer”) for the murders he committed with nails; “Çumra Canavarı” Abdullah Aksoy; and Hamdi Kayapınar, who described himself as a hunter and his victims as prey, are explored from their childhood to the present day.

The documentary’s team of experts includes Forensic Medicine Specialist and Psychoanalyst Prof. Dr. Gökhan Oral, Forensic Medicine Specialist Prof. Dr. Bülent Şam, Neuroscientist Prof. Dr. Sinan Canan, Clinical Psychologist Gökhan Çınar, and Investigative Journalist-Author Sevinç Yavuz.
